Glorfindel could only stare at his mate. Thranduil’s eyes blazed with love, but also with need to yield. Finally Glorfindel saw his meleth without any fears or doubts for the very first time. He closed the distance between them and raised his hand, cupping Thranduil’s cheek.
“Have you any idea how long I have waited for this moment? Now you are finally mine.” Glorfindel whispered, looking into the vivid green eyes he loved so much. Slowly, savouring every moment, he pulled his mate into a lingering kiss. Glorfindel tasted every corner of Thranduil’s delicious mouth, and the king trembled in his arms.
Thranduil couldn’t move. He couldn’t form one single coherent word when Glorfindel finally broke the kiss. He clung to his mate tightly, feeling his knees weakening. His heart started to race when Glorfindel lifted him up, carrying him to their wedding bed. For the very first time in his life, Thranduil wasn’t the king but a loving elf. After this night, everything will be different; this night Glorfindel would claim him for the first time. He felt vulnerable, but deep in his heart was a complete peace. Thranduil knew that in Glorfindel’s arms he would be safe till the end of Arda.
The rest of his fears disappeared when Glorfindel settled beside him, and he saw tears of emotion in his azure eyes.
“I just hope that I can be good enough for you, meleth nín. I love you so much and I want that this night will be everything you have dreamed of.” Glorfindel said softly, smoothing Thranduil’s cheek. It still felt like a miracle that soon he would claim this beautiful elf in a way no one else had before.
“Don’t be afraid, meleth. You are everything I could ever hope for. I have loved you from the very first moment I saw you. Take me now, Glor nín. Make love to me, and let our dream become reality.”
Thranduil didn’t resist at all when Glorfindel pinned him against the bed, kissing him. This time Glorfindel’s touch wasn’t gentle, but full of fire and passion. Thranduil could only yield to him, parting his thighs in a wanton invitation. He moaned when his arousal pressed between their bodies, causing delicious friction.
“Just like that, meleth nin… let it all go… let me show how much I love you.” Glorfindel murmured, spreading kisses on Thranduil’s face and neck. He smiled when he heard gasps and moans escaping from his mate’s lips, telling him that Thranduil was enjoying this as much as he was.
“Glorfindel, saes! I… I burn…” Thranduil breathed helplessly as Glorfindel continued his exploration lower. He buried his hands in the golden locks when a hot mouth started to suck his hardened nipples. Never had anyone claimed him so utterly, causing him to feel that he was drowning in ecstasy. Thranduil thrashed on the bed as a calloused hand finally wrapped around his arousal, stroking, caressing him, and lifting him higher than heaven itself.
Glorfindel shook to his very core when he saw his mate’s passion. Thranduil had never been as beautiful as now, all his fears and inhibitions forgotten. This amazing sight would be burned into Glorfindel’s heart forever.
Thranduil lay on the bed, completely spent but still not fully satisfied. A painful longing still lingered inside him, and he knew that only having Glorfindel within him, would finally satisfy that need. Thranduil’s breath caught when he saw Glorfindel open a little vial of oil. This was it; the moment of complete surrender.
“Relax for me, meleth. You know I could never hurt you.” Glorfindel whispered to him lovingly, and Thranduil felt tears of happiness burning behind his eyelids. He held his breath when a first digit slid into his body, but to his surprise there was no pain. Only the feeling of complete trust and rightness. A surprised moan erupted from Thranduil’s lips when Glorfindel touched a tender spot in him. He could only stare pleadingly into blue eyes that now were darkened with desire.
“Glorfindel…” Thranduil gasped, bucking his hips when Glorfindel mercilessly teased him, preparing him for his possession.
“Aye, meleth nin… now you know why I love to feel you within me. It is my turn to bring you such pleasure you have never known before.” Glorfindel whispered huskily, feeling an unbearable need to claim his mate there and then. But still he refused to rush this; Glorfindel wanted Thranduil beg him, to scream his need to be his.
“Glorfindel…” Another time his name was erupting from Thranduil’s lips was almost like a benediction or desperate plea. Thranduil’s eyes blazed with a hunger which Glorfindel had never seen in them, and he knew that the time was close. He moved his fingers in the slick passage until Thranduil finally screamed under his caresses.
“Saes… Glor… show mercy… make love to me now…” Thranduil sobbed, a white-hot fire coursing through his veins. He trembled when Glorfindel finally rose to claim him. He wanted this; oh, how desperately he needed Glorfindel to finally fill him, to make him complete.
“An uir, meleth nín… until the end of Arda…and even beyond that I will love you…” Glorfindel whispered, as he thrust into his writhing mate. Thranduil’s hoarse cry echoed in his ears, making Glorfindel’s ecstasy all the more deep. For a moment he could only pant, feeling his mate’s body pressing around him with incredible power. Glorfindel watched Thranduil’s face, and saw tears running down his cheeks.
“Are you all right, ind nin? Did I hurt you?” Glorfindel asked, concerned. He kissed Thranduil’s face until he finally felt him relaxing.
“Oh… Glor… I didn’t know… you feel so good”, Thranduil whispered, with wonder in his eyes. Glorfindel was big, so big that Thranduil’s whole body ached, but this pain was sweeter than he could ever imagine.
“You shouldn’t be so surprised, meleth. I was made for you.” Glorfindel chuckled, feeling a lump in his throat. Finally, Thranduil was his, like he was meant to be. He began to rock within his mate, tempting him to join in the sensual dance older than time itself. Almost without noticing, they found a complete rhythm, and the room filled with noises of their shared pleasure. They were one, and Glorfindel no longer knew where he ended and Thranduil began. And it didn’t matter. This maddening sensation was all that mattered as they continued their blissful journey towards heaven.
They kissed hungrily, and Glorfindel’s senses filled with his mate; Thranduil’s body beneath him, around him, driving him into mindless oblivion. Glorfindel took a firm grip of Thranduil’s hot, pulsing shaft and began to move his hand with the same intoxicating rhythm. Thranduil arched, surrendering completely to him as waves of orgasm finally shook them both. Glorfindel screamed as he felt his soul pouring out, meeting its destined mate. He tumbled down, falling into a bottomless abyss.

In Valinor…
A sleeping elf woke up abruptly. First, he wondered what had woken him, but then he smiled. He turned, gently waking his lover who still slept peacefully beside him.
“What has happened, meleth? Why did you wake me?” The other asked sleepily. He saw a dazzling smile appearing on his lover’s face.
“He has finally let me go. He has joined his fëa with his true soul mate and finally I’m free to love you like you deserve to be loved, meleth nín.”
The elf didn’t need to ask who his lover meant. He pulled him into a gentle kiss, feeling tears if happiness and relief in his lover’s eyes.
“Does this mean that you finally agree to bind with me? I have waited this for so long,” he asked, when they finally broke the kiss.
“I would bind myself to you whenever your want me. I’m so sorry that I hurt you with my hesitation,” the other whispered, burying his face in his lover’s chest.
“There is no need to be sorry, meleth. It was I who was a blind fool, and refused to see what a treasure I had in front of my very eyes. When you bound yourself with him, I finally realized what I had done. I drove my soul mate into the arms of another.”
“I loved him very much, even if he wasn’t my true soul mate. I felt so guilty when he grieved me so, and I already had found you. But now everything has changed. We both have finally found happiness with the ones we were meant to be with. The time of regret and doubts is finally over. Bind with me, meleth. Bind with me now.”
The elf looked into his beloved’s blue eyes, which shone with love and silent plea. He trembled with a thought that soon this beautiful creature would belong to him forever. Without hesitation he took his meleth into his arms, beginning to undress him slowly.
The gentle night in Valinor hid their passion and pleasure, when the two joined their bodies and souls together, like they were meant to be from the beginning.

In Imladris…
Thranduil lay boneless, completely spent on the bed. Glorfindel was still atop him and didn’t stir even when he tried to wake him. Thranduil still shook with the force of his earth shattering completion, and his thoughts raced. What has happened? After a long moment of waiting, Glorfindel finally raised his head, and Thranduil saw his eyes full of tears.
“Are you all right, meleth?” He asked. Glorfindel smiled and kissed him softly.
“I think it is I, who should ask that, Thranduil nín.” Glorfindel whispered, resting his head against his mate’s shoulder. He sighed happily when Thranduil smoothed his hair; his touch felt so amazing.
“What happened? I was beginning to worry for you when you didn’t wake up.”
Glorfindel hesitated; he wondered if it was wise to speak about his former mate. It was their wedding night after all. But, then he decided to share his feelings with Thranduil. Glorfindel knew that it didn’t do any good to either of them if he hid something so important from his beloved mate.
“Did you feel anything happen, meleth?” Glorfindel asked.
“What do you mean? I felt… our completion, and somehow… I felt your pleasure as well. I haven’t felt anything like that before. Why do you ask?”
“I ask, because… I’m free now. Finally, I realize that you are the one, meleth. I didn’t know that even if we can love more than once, we still have only one destined soul mate,” Glorfindel explained, hoping that Thranduil would understand what he tried to say.
Thranduil was stunned. He wasn’t sure if he was happy or angry about Glorfindel’s reminding him about his former mate.
“… and who is your destined soul mate then?” Thranduil finally asked, even if he wasn’t sure he wanted to know after all.
“Don’t you already know it, meleth nin? I didn’t feel anything like this with Ecthelion, even though I loved him very much. Now, I know why my fëa cried to be one with yours. I’m not complete without you, Thranduil nín. As dear as Ecthelion was to me, my feelings for him were only a pale shadow compared the love I have for you. And he has set me free. He has his own destiny now, and I know he is happy.”
Thranduil stared at Glorfindel as if he saw him for the very first time. He had to admit that sometimes he had wondered what would happen when they left for Valinor. But, his heart rejoiced with the thought that Glorfindel would really be his forever.
“I love you, Glor nín. I never could imagine that something like this even existed. And still… I feel you, as if we had only one fëa now.”
“But, we have and always had only one fëa. I always felt that something precious and necessary was lost from me. Now, I know that it was you who was missing.” Glorfindel assured. He turned around and pulled his mate tightly in his arms. They kissed, and no words were necessary. They both had finally found all what they would ever need to feel complete.
