Third Age, October 8th, 2952, Last Homely House, Imladris
Elrohir and Haldir entered the great hall hand in hand. The Peredhil gave his lover's hand a squeeze and smiled at him. Haldir smiled back, but Elrohir saw there was something in his eyes, something that was somehow different. He leaned his head upon the marchwarden's broad shoulder and felt his lips press into his head.
Elladan entered from the other side, accompanied by Aragorn. They walked together but were discreet about tendering affection to one another, preferring not to put the nature of their new relationship on display. They joined Elrohir and Haldir by the fire, waiting for their father and guest of honor together.
The four friends quietly chatted with one another and sipped their wine as soft harp music drifted through the room, accented by the crackling of the fire in the hearth. A flourish announced the Prince's arrival, and they looked up to see him enter the room. Out of the corner of his eye, Elladan caught Aragorn's reaction, it was much the same as it had been just a few hours ago – breathless awe. He smiled, somewhat sadly, and turned, crossing the room to greet the Prince, followed reluctantly by Elrohir.
"Mae Govannen, my Lord." Elladan took the Prince's proffered hand with the customary grace.
"Mae Govannen, Elladan, Elrohir." He smiled wickedly at Elrohir, if for no other reason than to make the Peredhil squirm.
Haldir caught the suggestive smile from the Prince and growled low in his throat, hearing Aragorn bite back a snicker from behind his hand. He and Aragorn moved to join them and he forced a smile as he shook the Prince's hand and bowed in respect. Legolas smiled and immediately seized upon Aragorn, taking his hand and tucking it in the crook of his arm as he walked away with the Dúnadan, striking up conversation about life in Imladris.
Elladan watched them walk away, resigned to what would happen from that point forward.
Elrohir poked him in the ribs and whispered, "Are you not going to do something? Are you going to let Legolas take him away like that?"
Elladan smiled sadly as he watched his lover succumb to the Prince's charms. "No, Elrohir, I am not going to do anything. Estel is a man now, he can make his own choices." He absently picked at the hors d'oeuvres that lay on the table in front of them.
Elrohir protested, "But, Elladan, he…"
Haldir pulled his lover away, quietly admonishing him. "Elrohir, your brother is right. Aragorn is a man, capable of making his own decisions. Your brother knows what he is doing."

Legolas sat beside Aragorn at dinner, still holding the Dúnadan under his spell. Aragorn flashed the occasional guilty glance at his lover, only to see Elladan smile and turn away, chatting to Lindir, who sat on his right. He sighed and took a sip of his wine. He was utterly confused, it seemed his lover was intent on pushing him into the Prince's arms. As he turned and looked at Legolas, and he absently thought it was not such a bad place to be pushed. The Prince's flaxen hair glowed in the firelight, his deep voice was like honey, rich and thick and smooth.
Legolas had a wicked sense of humor, he was highly intelligent, and did not like to stand on ceremony. In the few hours they had talked, Aragorn had learned that the elf Prince was an accomplished warrior, learned diplomat, and loyal and faithful son to his father. He could not overcome the pull the Sinda's beauty had on him: his ivory skin, sparkling sapphire eyes that lit up when he laughed, his bright and warm smile. He did indeed have a fine body, tall and strong, yet supple. He was graceful beyond measure, even simple things like picking up a fork were performed with fluid elegance. As reluctant as he was to admit it to himself, he was enraptured, and Elladan knew it. A gentle brush of Legolas' hand upon his arm set his heart racing and he prayed his face was not flushed as a result.
As they left the dinner table, Aragorn escorted the Prince into the Hall of Fire, where they sat next to one another as Lindir sang a song of fallen heroes. He leaned over slightly and whispered to the Prince, "He has a lovely voice."
Legolas smiled and leaned closer, his lips brushing Aragorn's ear as he whispered, "Yes, he does." He smiled as he noted the slight shiver that ran through is companion at his touch. **You will be mine tonight, Son of Arathorn.** he thought to himself. He looked up and took note of the way Lindir sang to Elladan, and the Peredhil's reaction. **Yes, you will be mine tonight for certain.**
After a respectable amount of time spent listening to the musicians and conversation, the Prince excused himself to get some air, inviting Aragorn to go with him. Aragorn looked to Elladan, for any sign of objection on his part and saw the Peredhil sitting with Lindir, smiling at the elf as he chuckled. He sighed and joined the Prince upon the terrace and gazed up into Itihil's pale light.
He turned and looked at the Prince, who was not speaking, and noted how beautiful he was in the moonlight. "Is it hard to be a Prince?" he asked quietly.
Legolas turned his bewitching gaze upon the young man and smiled. "I do not know, I have never been anything else." He laid a hand upon Aragorn's arm. "You struggle with your destiny, I see it in your eyes."
Aragorn nodded. "Aye, I do. I do not know if I am capable of doing all that is expected of me. I fear I carry my forefather's weakness in my blood."
Legolas gazed deep into his eyes and smiled gently. "I do not see it there, Aragorn. If it were there, I would know."
Aragorn smiled shyly. "What do you see, my Lord?"
Legolas smiled again, blinking slowly as his tongue slipped out to wet his lips. "I see strength, I see courage, and I see honor." He inched closer, encouraged that the young man did not withdraw. "And I see something else…"
Aragorn took a deep breath, feeling his heart race out of control. "What? What is it you see, my Lord?'
Legolas leaned in, his lips slowly closing on Aragorn's. He whispered, "Yearning, an ache for something you have searched for but not yet found." His lips brushed the Dúnadan's as he continued, "Perhaps you have found what you seek tonight?"
Aragorn felt his pulse race and a delicious heat flare in his loins. "Aye, I think I have…" he whispered raggedly, and he covered the Prince's mouth with his own.
Legolas moaned quietly into the kiss, arching his back as Aragorn pulled him closer, and he opened his mouth to the surprisingly aggressive onslaught of his soon to be lover. He felt the man's callused hands slide up the back of his neck and he slid one leg along the outside of the Dúnadan's thigh. The kiss was forceful, hungry, and full of heat, and he suddenly found himself desperate to feel Aragorn's skin against his own. They broke from their kiss and he whispered, "There is a fire inside you, Son of Arathorn; I long to feel its heat."
Aragorn clasped the elf tighter, crushing him against his chest. "It may burn you," he growled.
Legolas laughed softly and replied, "Do not let my soft appearance fool you, Aragorn. I burn hot enough in my own right. I doubt you have felt the likes of my fire in your short life."
Aragorn nipped the elf's lower lip and tugged at it as he pulled away. "So show me, elf," he growled.
Legolas pulled away and led him by the hand off the terrace to his quarters.

Lindir walked through the garden with Elladan and the Peredhil smirked as Lindir's hand brushed against his own. "This is not necessary, Lindir," he said softly. "I know where Aragorn is, and he is there with my blessing. I will not seek him out this night."
Lindir sighed; he had long been enamoured of Elladan, but not had the opportunity to show him how much. "I know it is not necessary, my Lord. But I want to do it nonetheless. Unless you prefer I do not." He stopped Elladan and looked into his eyes. "There is no sense in you spending this night alone, my Lord, not while your lover lies in another's arms. To spend it with you would be a privilege."
Elladan looked at Lindir, noting he was indeed lovely in the moonlight. He knew where is lover lay, and imagined what he and Legolas were doing in that moment. This was right, he reminded himself. Aragorn needed to leave the shelter of his life in Imladris if he was ever to grow into his own, and he had to help him do that. "Perhaps you are right, mellonamin. It has been long since I have tasted the flesh of another of my own kind."
Lindir smiled seductively and stepped closer. "I would have you taste mine, my Lord. If it looks worthy of your attention."
Elladan slipped his hand beneath Lindir's hair and pulled him close, lowering his head to press a kiss to his waiting lips. "Aye, I think it worthy enough." He covered the elf's mouth with his own and let out a quiet moan as he felt Lindir's hands caress his backside.
Lindir arched into the kiss, yielding to the half-elf's powerful embrace, feeling his arousal begin to harden beneath his robes. He worked his magic upon Elladan's body, hands roaming, fingers questing; bending to the Peredhil's will.
Elladan took what was so freely given and asked for more, knowing there was nothing this alluring elf would deny him. They broke from their heated kiss and he growled into Lindir's ear, "Come, mellonamin, show me what it is I have been missing."
Lindir smiled as he followed Elladan to his quarters.
