It was early evening and Erestor was in his chambers preparing for the feast. As he climbed out of the bath he winced slightly and smiled, thinking about last night. Glorfindel had taken him in every way he had said he was going to. He had pleasured him so well that Erestor actually had lost consciousness. Walking out of the bathing chamber, he hummed to himself as he walked to the bed and looked down at the robe he was going to wear this evening, as he brushed his hair. A few years past, when he had some new robes made, Erestor had seen this beautiful indigo fabric in the seamstress' cottage. On a whim, Erestor had decided to order a special robe made. The fabric felt like velvet but draped over the body like silk. He had flowers, celandine, embroidered along the neckline, down the seams in front, and on the cuffs. The robe is so unlike the ones he usually wore, somber blacks and dark blues, plain and simple. This robe shouted *possession* to Erestor's mind, Glorfindel's possession, for he was Glorfindel's. Erestor wondered what Glorfindel's reaction would be when he walked into the banquet hall wearing it.

He smiled as he thought of seeing Arwen and the twins. How he loved them and was anxious to see them. He thought of Lostariel and how it would be wonderful to have his own Elfling, a sweet elleth with raven locks and beautiful crystal blue eyes, just like his hervenn. Suddenly, Erestor got a strange feeling and shivered. "Oh Valar, I take that back, I am quite content with just Glorfindel," he whispered out loud. Erestor knew how the Valar could be when granting one's wishes and how sometimes what you received was not exactly what you had in mind. He shuddered as he thought back to that time he had visited Mirkwood and the very pregnant ellon (m. elf) he had met. Out of necessity Erestor had to help with the birthing of a few Elflings during times of need and he shuddered at how messy and painful it was for an elleth. Erestor could not fathom how an ellon could survive birthing an Elfling. 'No, Elflings were not for him nor Glorfindel' he thought as he started to dress.

After putting on his leggings and under shirt he put on the robe. Fastening the clasps he then put a gold circlet on his head and otherwise left his hair unbraided. Walking over to his wardrobe, he pulled a small wooden box off the shelf and opened it. Inside, lying on a blanket of blue velvet was a gold celandinebrooch with leaves made out of emeralds. He smiled as he remembered that he had purchased this many years past. He had, many times, thought of giving it to Glorfindel but the time never felt right. Now seemed the perfect time so Erestor decided that this was going to be his binding present for Glorfindel; he was going to give it to him tonight when they were alone. Closing the box and putting it on the bedside table, he looked once more in the mirror before leaving his chambers.

As he walked to the banquet hall, the one used for large gathering when the weather outside was bad, he thought about what the next couple of days were going to be like. He had talked to Elrond, after finishing his work this afternoon, about requesting leave for Glorfindel and himself for a couple of days. After getting permission, he then asked Mel to take care of his duties and was happy that he did not try to pry on the why of his request. Lastly, he had talked to Lostariel for a favor. After they announced their binding tonight, Erestor wanted a couple of days alone with Glorfindel. He was determined to keep Glorfindel in his chambers for a couple of days. He had already fixed up his chambers but would need to have food delivered each day, and not wanting to go to Galuwen, the head cook, for Erestor knew how gossip seemed to flourish in the kitchens, had asked Lostariel for a favor. Erestor had a special place in Galuwen's heart and he knew that he would get what he requested. He had given a list of the food he wanted sent to his chambers those two days and a present for Galuwen. Galuwen and Erestor had spent many hours in a quiet corner of the kitchen writing and reading poetry. She loved to write poetry and often asked Erestor to read it for his opinion. Erestor had kept every piece of parchment and had been secretly scribing it into a beautiful leather bound book. Erestor thought that this would be the best time to present Galuwen with the book, though he wished he could give it to her in person. Smiling, Erestor would tell Glorfindel that he should thank him for that present would keep his belly full of yummy food, for he was sure that Galuwen was going to spoil him for quite some time. Erestor slowed as he reached the banquet hall, composing himself before he entered.

"So Glorfindel, where is Imladris' mighty Chief Advisor. I thought he would be here by now," asked Legolas.

Glorfindel had his back to the door and was talking with Elladan, Elrohir and Legolas. Glorfindel looked at Legolas, trying to ascertain if he had any feeling for his hervenn. "He had to work late this afternoon. I suppose he will appear soon. Why are you so anxious to see him?" he asked, trying to keep the possessive tone out of his voice.

Legolas laughed, "Oh I want to corner him for another game of chess."

"Ah, he said that you cheated the last time you two played."

Legolas said with shock, "Cheated! I did not cheat. He just does not know how to lose graciously. It was not my fault that he was easily distracted. Not once did I break any rule of the game."

Chuckling Glorfindel said, "Humph, then it was just luck then."

When Elladan and Elrohir started to laugh with Glorfindel, Legolas exclaimed, "Hey you two; you are not going to defend me."

Elrohir was about to say that he was on his own when he stared in shock at the vision that was now standing in the doorway of the banquet hall.

Glorfindel was going to ask what was wrong with Elrohir when he noticed that the hall had become quiet, where before it was quite boisterous. Turning to look where the twins were looking, he caught his breath as his eyes lit upon Erestor. Looking him up and down, he stared at the robe he was wearing and what is signified and all he could say was, 'Mine.'

Erestor had been nervous before he had walked in and now, more so, with all the eyes on him until he heard Glorfindel's voice inside his head. 'Always,' he replied as he stared at Glorfindel.

Elrond looked from one to the other and knew that he had better announce their binding before Glorfindel carried Erestor out of the hall to his chambers. He was a couple of yards from Glorfindel, but even from that far he could feel his love for Erestor rolling off him in waves. Catching Lostariel's attention, he nodded and watched as she made her way to his side.

Erestor took a deep breath, then walked down the few steps into the hall and walked to Glorfindel's side. As he stopped in front of his meleth (love), they stared into one another's eyes, forgetting everyone around them until they heard Elrond's voice filling the silence.

"My friends, we are gathered here this evening to celebrate the safe return of my children and also, in celebration of a binding," Elrond said and watched as those present looked around wondering who the mated couplewas. He noticed that many looked upon Erestor and Glorfindel with speculation.

Before Elrond could announce who the couple was, Glorfindel lifted Erestor up into his arms and captured his lips in a wildly passionate kiss. First there were gasps of shock heard around the hall, then suddenly it was filled with the sound of cheers and clapping as Glorfindel twirled around and said loudly, "I want everyone to meet hervenn nín (my husband), Erestor, Chief Advisor of Imladris."

Not comfortable with being the center of attention outside of the council chambers, Erestor buried his face in Glorfindel's neck, 'Meleth.'

Feeling his discomfort, he lowered Erestor to his feet and held him close as he accepted congratulations for both of them, 'Melui (Sweet), it is alright.'

Feeling the comfort and love pouring from Glorfindel into him from their bond, Erestor gathered his courage and turned in Glorfindel's arms so they were wrapped around his shoulders and his back was up against Glorfindel's chest. Normally Erestor would not have been so daunted with all the attention, it was just that he had guarded his feelings for so long that he felt a little vulnerable with them out in the open.

When Elrond saw the look in Glorfindel's eyes as he looked his way, he knew that he wanted to get on with the feast so Erestor would be more comfortable. Motioning Glorfindel for them to approach him, he waited until they stood in front of him. "I am so happy that my dear friends have finally found such happiness and stopped being so stubborn," he smiled down at them when he saw Erestor give him a scowl. Taking a small wooden box out of the pocket of his robes, he said, "I know that your binding was sudden and you have not had the chance to have rings made so I gift you with these."

Both Glorfindel and Erestor gasped as Elrond opened the small wooden box to reveal two matching gold rings. Looking up at Elrond with tears in their eyes, Glorfindel and Erestor each took a ring and after placing one on each other's finger, they stared at the beautiful rings, as there was a cheer once more in the hall. The rings were made of gold with a flower, Celandine, and cradled in itspetals was a very rare diamond, black.

Looking down at the ring on his finger, Glorfindel said, 'My dark jewel.'

'My golden flower,' Erestor said before he launched himself into Glorfindel's arms and kissed him soundly in front ofall.

Smiling down at his friends, Elrond said, "Mellyn nín (My friends), you have one more present left."

Erestor reluctantly released Glorfindel's lips and then both he and Glorfindel hugged Elrond tightly and another cheer sounded out into the hall.

Laughing, Elrond extricated himself out of their arms and said, "Lostariel has a gift for you also."

Blushing, Lostariel walked up to Erestor and Glorfindel and gave them a scroll. Looking at her, then the scroll, Erestor broke the seal and carefully unfurled it so both he and Glorfindel could read what was written. By the time they finished reading, both had tears falling down their cheeks. Carefully giving the scroll to Elrond, Erestor and Glorfindel gathered their precious elloth dithen (little flower) into their arms and all three were weeping with joy.

Announcing to everyone in the hall, Elrond said, "Let it be known that from this day forward, Lostariel o Imladris is the adopted daughter of Glorfindel, Imladris' Captain of the Guard and Erestor, Imladris' Chief Advisor."

A rousing cheer once again was brought forth and tears flowed freely as everyone swarmed forth, wanting to congratulate the happy new family.

*****

The celebration went onwell into the night. There was dancing, singing, feasting, and many toasts were made to the newly mated couple. When Lostariel gifted them with a song, Glorfindel pulled Erestor to the dance floor and not one elf in the hall did not feel their love and desire for each other.

Haldir and Elrond kept company the whole night, talking quietly and only one other noticed how they leaned a little too closely to one another when speaking, or the light touches here and there, and she smiled, thinking it was about time that her adar (father) had someone to take care of him. She would continue to observe them and, if needs be, nudge them in the right direction.

Glorfindel was holding Erestor close while they danced, when Erestor said, 'Meleth (Love), I want to leave.'

Glorfindel smiled brightly as he swung Erestor up into his arms and carried him out of the hall while cheers were cried out.

Burying his face in Glorfindel's neck, he said, 'Glorfindel, I can walk on my own.'

'I love it when you are in my arms.'

Erestor smiled as he started to nuzzle Glorfindel's neck, playfully nipping the pulse at the base of his throat. When Glorfindel stopped at his chambers, Erestor said, "No meleth, tonight we go to my rooms."

Putting Erestor down he said, "Alright, wait here; there is something I need to retrieve from my bedchamber."

But before Glorfindel could turn and walk into hisreceiving room, Erestor pushed him up against the wall and plundered his mouth. When he thoroughly kissed Glorfindel, Erestor said, between breathes, "Hurry."

Dazedly, Glorfindel walked into hisquarters and quickly grabbed the pouch on his bedside table and followed Erestor to his chambers.

Opening his door, Erestor motioned for Glorfindel to go in first. After they entered his bedchamber, Erestor locked the door with a key and put it on a table near the door. Turning, he gasped as Glorfindel gathered him into his arms and started to ravish his lips, slowly walking them towards the bed. After a few moments, Erestor found the strength to break the kiss and pushed Glorfindel away from him.

Breathing hard, Glorfindel asked, "Melui (Sweet)?"

Taking a few steps back, Erestor unclasped his robe and took it off, carefully draping it over a chair. Kicking off his shoes, Erestorthen sat in a chair facing the bed.

Glorfindel watched Erestor sit down and shuddered at the look of possession in his eyes. He felt a wildness coming from him that he had not felt before and it called out to his own. Glorfindel's eyelids became heavy as desire raced through his blood and he waited silently for Erestor to say something.

Erestor stared at him, devouring him with his eyes. "Take off your clothes," he ordered in an even tone.

Glorfindel took a deep breaththen started to quickly shed his garments, but was stopped by another order.

"No, slowly."

Never breaking eye contact, Glorfindel slowly unlaced the ties to his vest and let it slip to the floor. Then pulling the strings of his under tunic, he grasped the hem and inched it up and over his head, letting it fall to the floor alongside his vest. He stood there trying to catch his breath, then he bent down and took off his boots, throwing them a few feet away from him. Standing up straight, he ran his hands over his chest, down his stomach to the waistband of his leggings.

Erestor grasped the arms of the chair in order to stay seated. He had fantasized about this for so long that he was afraid he would lose control before it even started. Trying to keep his voice even, he ordered, "Continue."

Tugging on the laces, Glorfindel slowly pushed his leggings past his hips, down his thighs, until they pooled at he feet, then kicked his legs free. Standing there with his arms down at his sides, he waited for the next order.

'So magnificent' Erestor thought to himself. Glorfindel was standing with his feet braced apart. His body had a sheen of sweat upon it already, making it glow in the candle light. His chest was rapidly rising and falling as he breathed hard and his shaft stood erect and almost too much of a temptation for Erestor to stay seated. Taking a steadying breath he said, "Lay on your back upon the bed."

Knowing that he could not take much more Glorfindel crawled onto the bed, arching his back and sent all the pent up desire he was feeling through their bond and smiled when he heard Erestor's sudden intake of breath. Suddenly Erestor was there, pushing him down onto the mattress with strong hands, staring down at him, his dark hair curtaining around them.

"Do not do that again," he hissed, trying to regain control.

Looking up at Erestor, he felt so much love for his dark elf that he could not stop it from passing through their bond.

Leaning down, Erestor poured all his love through a gentle kiss, then said, "Close your eyes and do not open them."

Glorfindel let all his trust for his melui fill his eyes; he then slowly closed them.

Erestor had to blink away the tears that flooded his eyes at the complete trust and love that poured forth from his meleth. Quietly opening the drawer of the bedside table, Erestor took out a black silk scarf and said, "Raise your head."

Doing what he was told, Glorfindel sucked in a breath as Erestor tied a blindfold over his eyes. Once he was done, Glorfindel laid his head back down and had to fight the need to beg for Erestor's touch. When he heard a rustle of clothing, he sighed in relief when, suddenly, his wrists were grasped in strong hands and were tied together. When Erestor raised his arms above his head and secured them to the headboard, he could not stifle a moan as he felt Erestor's chest brush against his cheek.

Tying Glorfindel's wrists to the headboard, he then sat back and stared at his hervenn (husband). Not able to stop himself, he leaned down and lapped at the sweat in the hollow of Glorfindel's throat, which caused Glorfindel to moan and arch into his touch.

"Do not move or make a sound," Erestor said as he took out a feather from the drawer and sat there for a minute, letting anticipation surround Glorfindel until he was laboring for breath from trying to stay still and not make a noise. Finally Erestor took the feather and ran it lightly down Glorfindel's forearm to his bicep and then drawing it back up to where he had started.

Glorfindel sucked in his breath once again and had to bite down onto his lower lip to prevent from moaning out loud. Shivers ran down his spine as the feather was brought back down his arm, down his side and across his stomach to circle around his navel.

Erestor lightly drew the feather down one side of Glorfindel's body and up the other side, always stopping short of Glorfindel's erection, which was continuingly weeping its precious fluid. Once he had traced every inch of Glorfindel's front with the feather, but never where he needed it most, he put it back into the drawer and stood up and stared down at Glorfindel's writhing body. Unlacing his leggings, Erestor quickly pulled them off and knelt on the bed. Leaning forward so he could whisper in Glorfindel's ear, he said, "Now I am going use my tongue just like I used the feather. I am going to taste all of you, meleth."

Glorfindel gulped and could not prevent the whimper that came out as Erestor started to run his tongue down his arm. Glorfindel writhed and moaned as not an inch of his skin was spared except the one place he needed most to be touched. Finally not able to take anymore, he pleaded, "Melui...saes."

That was all that Erestor had been waiting for. Without giving any hint of what he was going to do next, he took the whole of Glorfindel's shaft into his mouth and swallowed as it hit the back of his throat, causing Glorfindel to arch up and roar at finally being touched.

Thrashing under Erestor's assault, it was not long before he came crashing over the edge, his body shaking from the force of his climax.

Greedily drinking all that Glorfindel could give, he continued to taste him until Glorfindel was literally whimpering from the continued waves of pleasure that was pulsating through his body.

Grabbing the vial of oil out of the drawer, Erestor sat in between Glorfindel's legs and pulled the blindfold off of Glorfindel. Looking deeply into his eyes, Erestor said, "I want to look into your eyes when I take you, meleth."

Glorfindel blinked at the sudden light and then he focused his eyes onto Erestor and had to fight to keep them open as he entered a finger into his tight passage, brushing his sweet spot, causing him to arch against his hand.

Erestor continued the ministrations until he easily could move three fingers inside Glorfindel, wanting him to be as ready as he could be for him for he knew he would not be able to take him gently. After spreading oil upon his shaft, he draped Glorfindel's legs over his arms and buried himself to the hilt. Not able to control his passion any longer, Erestor pulled nearly all the way out then thrust forward again, hitting Glorfindel's sweet spot with every stroke. Moving Glorfindel's legs around his waist, he leaned forward and plunged his tongue into his mouth, mimicking the thrusts of his shaft.

Glorfindel strained against the bonds around his wrists and arched up, meeting Erestor's wild thrusts with his own. "Ai...Melui...I cannot take...much more," he said as Erestor kissed his way down to nip his collarbone. Never had he felt such pleasure, such sweet torture.

"Glor...you are so tight, you feel so perfect," Erestor breathed into his neck.

Glorfindel body arched and he roared, "ERESTOR!"

Glorfindel's climax reverberated through Erestor, causing him to soar right along with him, their waves of pleasure crashing over them again and again until they were clinging to one another, struggling for breath.

Time seemed to slow as their faer (souls) danced together to the melody of their love and passion. Breaths were drawn in and pulses steadied as the song came to a quiet whisper.

Erestor raised his head and looked into the deeply sated eyes of his hervenn. Sliding out of Glorfindel, he reached up and untied his bonds.

Once he was free, Glorfindel rolled on top of Erestor and drank in the vision of his melui. So many emotions took hold of him that he could not keep them in and all of what he felt for his precious hervenn washed over them both. "Gerich veleth nín (I love you) with all of my being. An eternity with you could never be long enough, melui nín."

Tears filled Erestor's eyes and leaked out to christen his hair as he whispered, "We were such fools to waste so much time. Gerich veleth nín, Glor, I always have and always will. Whatever happens in times to come, I am and will always be yours."

Glorfindel leaned down and captured Erestor's tears with his lips, then trailed kisses all over his face until he tasted the sweetness of Erestor's lips.

Erestor sighed as Glorfindel gave him the gentlest of kisses and when they managed to gain the strength to move, they bathed, touching, tasting, and loving one another. When they were settled back into a freshly made bed, Erestor reached out and took the box off the bedside table. "I have a present for you, meleth," he said, about to open the box.

"Wait! I have one for you, also," Glorfindel said as he went and searched through his clothing until he found the pouch he had retrieved earlier from his chambers. Climbing back into bed, they exchanged presents and Glorfindel said, "You open yours first."

Erestor leaned over and gave him a quick kiss before he pulled at the drawstring on the pouch and he gasped when saw what had been hidden within. Dropping the pouch, Erestor held up the necklace and watched the dark crystal, which was hanging from a mithril chain, twinkle in the candlelight. Erestor looked into Glorfindel's eyes and asked, "When did you get this?"

"Do you like it?"

Erestor leaned over once again and said against Glorfindel's lips, "I love it."

Smiling Glorfindel caressed Erestor's cheek and said, "I purchased it when I realized I loved you. I was going to give it to you as a declaration of my feeling towards you, but you know what happened. So I tucked it away, hidden just as my love was for you. My love for my dark jewel."

Erestor wiped a stray tear from his eye and said, "Now look what you did, you got me crying again," then he threw his arms around him and gave him a deep kiss. Finally, when he could pry himself away from Glorfindel's mouth, he told him to open his present.

The box was about the size of Glorfindel's hand and was beautifully crafted out of oak. It was etched with flowers, celandine to be exact. Opening it, Glorfindel smiled as he saw the most beautifulbrooch, laying on a blanket of blue velvet, a celandine with emeralds as leaves. Running his finger over thepetals, he asked, "And when did you purchase this?"

Smiling Erestor said, "Well, I did not buy it so long ago, but when I saw it I knew I needed to buy it. After I purchased it, I did not know if I could ever gain the courage to give it to you."

Glorfindel leaned over and gave him a gentle kiss, "I love it, melui."

Erestor yawned just then and Glorfindel laughed, "I guess ordering me around made you tired."

After he carefully replaced the necklace in its pouch and laying it on the bedside table, he smiled, "And did meleth nín liked to be ordered around."

Putting the box next to the pouch, Glorfindel lay down and pulled Erestor on top of him and whispered into his ear, "You can master me anytime you want."

After kissing Glorfindel's chin, Erestor lay his head on his chest and said, "Maybe I would like you to be the master sometime."

Glorfindel smiled and wrapped his arms around Erestor and said, "Anything you want," but Erestor was already asleep.

*****

Winter was slowly releasing its hold on the valley of Imladris. Most of the residents were longing for spring, but there were two who were not, for the coming of spring would bring the departure of the Galadhrim. It had been four blissful months since the binding of Elrond's Chief Advisor and Captain of the Guard. In that time, happiness seemed to blanket the valley along with the drifts of snow. New relationships seemed to flourish, kindled those with hope for the future.

Glorfindel was sitting before the fire, slowly brushing Erestor's hair after their bath. This had become almost a nightly ritual. He watched as Erestor closed his eyes and tipped his head back. Smiling, Glorfindel leaned down and kissed the tip of his nose.

Erestor sighed as he opened his eyes to look up at Glorfindel. "I did not have a chance to asked you how your day was, meleth (love)?" Erestor asked.

"Are you complaining, melui (sweet)?"

Chuckling, he asked, "Did you hear me complaining when you took me?"

Glorfindel, putting the brush down, gathered Erestor into his arms and nuzzled his neck, "Hmm, no, as I remember, you were too busy to say anything."

Kissing Glorfindel's chin, Erestor said, "I had a visitor today."

Glorfindel drew in the heady scent of his melui as he continued to nuzzle his neck, "And who was your visitor, melui?"

Erestor leaned into Glorfindel's touch and sighed, "Our elloth dithen (little flower). She was upset."

At this, Glorfindel stopped nuzzling Erestor's neck and looked worriedly into his eyes, "Why was she upset? Is she well?"

"Calanon."

"Calanon? But I thought, after our talk the other day, that everything should be perfect between them," Glorfindel asked, getting angry.

"Shh, meleth, it is alright. It seems, though, that Calanon has not asked Lostariel if he could court her yet," Erestor said trying to sooth him.

Puzzled, he said, "But he asked for our blessing."

Sighing, Erestor said, "I know he is not having second thoughts. Maybe he is waiting for the perfect time to ask her."

Glorfindel said, in a huff, "Well, if he takes too long, I will make him ask her from the point of my sword. I do not like the thought of our elloth being upset."

Smiling, Erestor kissed the frown away from Glorfindel's brow and said, "I say we give him a couple of days, then I will let you play with your sword."

Rolling Erestor over onto his back, he said, "You will let me play with my sword? I thought you got jealous whenever I played with my sword, as I remember you said it was yours."

Erestor gave him a wicked smile before he attacked. Rolling Glorfindel onto his back, he straddled Glorfindel's hips and grasped his shaft with his hand and said, "I was not talking about this sword, meleth. But you are right, it is mine."

Glorfindel ran his hands up Erestor's thighs under his robe, determined to play along, when suddenly Erestor moved above him and impaled himself on his shaft.

Throwing his head back, Erestor arched his back and said, "Yes...mine."

Glorfindel was lost in the waves of their passion. Grasping Erestor's cock, he stroked him and gasped, "Mine."

Quickly, they soared as one and clung together in the aftermath of their love. When they finally regained their breaths, they cleaned each other then settled in their bed.

"I am worried about Elrond, meleth. He is dreading the coming of spring," Erestor said, as he lazily ran his fingers up and down Glorfindel's stomach.

Glorfindel was worried also. "He and Haldir's relationship has not changed?" Glorfindel asked as he ran his fingers through Erestor's hair.

"I do not believe so. Elrond has confided in me that Haldir is hesitant about deepening their relationship because he has to return to Lothlórien. Elrond also knows that is where he belongs. The One Ring is still out there somewhere and Elrond feels that it is only time before Sauron comes forth to try to claim it once again. He said that Haldir is needed in Lothlórien," Erestor said with a sigh.

Holding Erestor tighter, Glorfindel said, "I am sure it will work itself out. If they truly are meant for one another, then they will not be able to stay away from each other for too long."

Settling on top of Glorfindel, he said, "Yes, you are right. I have a feeling that with Arwen's schemes, that they will not last too much longer."

Glorfindel laughed, "Ai (Ah), she is a sneaking little minx when she wants something to go her way."

Erestor laughed with him and gave him a quick kiss, "Have I told you that I loved you this evening?"

Caressing Erestor's cheek, he said, "Yes, melui, but you can tell me again."

Leaning down, he kissed him and said, "I," kiss, "love," kiss, "you," then plundered his mouth.

Glorfindel savored the taste of his hervenn (husband) and said, 'I love you too, melui.'
