Glorfindel sat there after having breakfast in his chambers with Erestor and thought of the last two days. Two glorious and frustrating days since the declaration of their love. How he wanted to keep Erestor in their little love nest but knew if he was going to get anything that he wanted done, he would need to get Erestor out of his chambers. That first time waking up in Erestor's arms had been a dream, a fantasy come true. Oh how he wished he had been well enough to ravish his Erestor, but had to be content with passionate kisses. Now, though his body still was a bit sore and the wound still a little bruised, he was able to move easily on his own and he was most determined for tonight to go exactly the way he wanted. He smiled, remembering when Elrond came into his bedchamber that first morning, finding Erestor and him in a passionate kiss. Elrond tried, though not successfully, to be a stern healer and insist that they cease and desist, that Glorfindel still needed rest. But both Erestor and he saw the twinkle in Elrond's eyes and the corners of his lips curve until he could not hold it in any longer and smiled brightly at the two new lovers. 'Lovers' thought Glorfindel, well not completely. They had shared many more touches and kisses but not the culmination of their love. But Glorfindel was determined that that was all going to change tonight. All he needed to do was get Erestor out of his chambers for the day so he could prepare his surprise, and a surprise it was going to be. Though neither Erestor nor he had spoken as yet about the binding ceremony, Glorfindel was sure that Erestor would not want to wait the custom year, as he did not. So yesterday when Elrond sat with him while Erestor went and retrieved a few items from his chambers, Glorfindel broached the subject.
"Elrond, though Erestor and I have not talked about it, I do not want to wait the full year for the binding ceremony. I have waited too long for him and I know he feels the same."
Nodding his agreement Elrond said, "Yes, it is well overdue, your binding."
Glorfindel and Erestor had told Elrond that they wanted to keep their relationship a secret for right now. They both wanted to wait for Glorfindel's complete recovery and did not want a big deal made out of it. That decided, the only one, other than Elrond who was to enter Glorfindel's chambers, was Lostariel. Elrond then suggested that since his children were returning early from Lothlórien that they would have a celebration feast upon their return and they all agreed that would be a perfect time to announce their love for one another. But now Glorfindel was determined that they would announce their binding.
He thought of all the things he wanted to do to Erestor now that he was well enough, how he wanted to take him and be taken in return. Smiling he thought of how he was going to get payment for the promise Erestor gave him that first night. Just the thought of it was making him very uncomfortable and he moved in his seat, trying to relieve some of the ache.
"OOF," Glorfindel gasped as his lap was suddenly filled with his meleth (love).
Wrapping his arms around Glorfindel's neck Erestor gave him a quick kiss and asked, "What is my Glor thinking about? Your eyes are a deep blue and what is this underneath me?"
When Erestor wiggled against his groin Glorfindel was hard pressed not to groan out loud. Quickly looking over to where Lostariel was hanging up some garments, Glorfindel leaned in to whisper in Erestor's ear, "You meleth nín (my love), are a tease! We have company."
Not caring at the moment, Erestor swooped down and kissed Glorfindel hard and smiled when he brought forth a growl from Glorfindel. Even through their passionate kiss they both heard the sigh that came from the other side of the room. Breaking apart they looked to find Lostariel looking upon them with a wistful look on her face. Erestor had the decency to blush at his seemingly uncontrollable desire for his Glor.
Lostariel smiled as she watched Glorfindel and Erestor and how happy they were. After her parents had died Glorfindel saved her and brought her back here to Imladris to live. She could still remember those first few nights here, she had been so frightened, losing her parents in such a violent way and being so young at the time, and Glorfindel took it upon himself to watch over her. Erestor had came in that first night and they both stayed with her all night, telling her stories and comforting her until finally she fell asleep. Since then, they were always sending her things and made her feel wanted and she loved them for it.
"Erestor, our elloth dithen (little flower) is growing too fast," Glorfindel said with a frown.
Erestor looked upon Lostariel's beautiful face. She had just reached her majority two summers ago and Glorfindel and he had to be more diligent in their guarding of her; they would not be able to handle it if something were to happen to her. Their elloth dithen had such a beautiful faer (soul), glowed with such a light drawing everything and everyone towards her.
Motioning to the chair opposite to them Erestor said, "Come, elloth dithen, and sit down. Tell us if a certain ellon (m. elf) has captured your notice."
Lostariel sat down happily. She had wanted to talk with them about what it was like to be in love, how to know if it were true love.
At the look of determination upon her face, both Erestor and Glorfindel looked at each other with dismay. 'Their elloth dithen could not already be in love', they thought.
"How do you know if what you are feeling is truly love and if so, how would I go about approaching the ellon to whom I have these feelings for?" she asked with a seriousness well past her age.
With a quick look at Glorfindel, Erestor said, "Well, when you think of this ellon, does your heart start to race, do you get a giddy feeling, as if all you want to do is smile?"
Lostariel thought for a few moments and smiled, "Yes, yes I do. Whenever I think about him I feel happy and when I see him I get butterflies in my stomach."
It was Glorfindel's turn to ask, "Have you spoken with this ellon, do you know how he feels towards you?"
Blushing beautifully she said, "I have briefly spoken to him only a couple of times but I can still remember the first time I saw him, it was like I wanted to float away, it made me quite dizzy. I do not know how he feels, I am not even sure if he knows that I exist."
Erestor and Glorfindel exchanged worried glances; their own history told them that they needed to guide her better than they had guided themselves.
"When the first time you two spoke, what happened?" Erestor asked.
A wistful look came over her and she said, "I was heading back to The Last Homely House, it was raining and I was trying to hurry so I would not get too wet. I was rushing past a few ellyn (m. elves) when I slipped. If it were not for his steadying hands I surely would have fallen. As his fingers touched my arms I felt a jolt go through me and I looked into his eyes. I remember seeing a frown upon his face and...shock, yes that is what I think I saw."
Glorfindel needed to know who this ellon was and asked, "Who is this magnificent ellon that has captured your attention so?"
Lostariel blushed; surely they would think he was too good for her, too old. Taking a deep breath she said, "Calanon."
To say that both Erestor and Glorfindel were shocked, that would be an understatement. They both knew the ellon and equally had much respect for him, he was fair and kind, a brave warrior. He was also quite older than her, over nine centuries to be exact.
"Lostariel, he is an honorable ellon. Maybe we can be of help to ascertain his feelings for you, though caution should be taken," Glorfindel said.
"Caution is good and all, but to love you must be able to take risks, we two stubborn elves took caution to the extreme," Erestor said as he caressed Glorfindel's neck.
Erestor's fingers caused a shiver to race down Glorfindel's spine and he remembered that he must get Erestor out of his chambers.
Before he could say anything, Lostariel launched herself into their arms with a delighted laugh, not able to contain her joy and love for them. She said, "Oh, thank you. I do not know what I would do without you both."
Glorfindel and Erestor held her close and looked into each other's eyes with happiness. This little one was so precious to them both, a part of their family, though not of their blood.
After a minute or so she extricated herself from their embrace and kissed both their cheeks. She looked down at them and suddenly knew of the most perfect binding gift that she could give them. She would need to go and see Elrond for he was the only one who could make it happen. Glorfindel had come to her for help with his surprise and she was so happy that, finally, the two most important ellyn in her life were becoming one. Walking back over to the wardrobe, she retrieved Erestor's robe he usually wore when working and brought it over to them.
Looking at the robe, he did not have a chance to ask why Lostariel brought it to him when she said, "I will leave now and take the dirty garments to the laundry and return later."
When she was gone, Erestor looked to Glorfindel and asked, "Are you trying to get rid of me already, meleth?"
Chuckling, "No, melui nín (my sweet), but I know that part of you is anxious to return to your duties. I know that you hate the thought of not doing your duty and you worry that Imladris is falling apart in your absence. I also should make an appearance in the barracks so my warriors know that I am truly well."
Knowing Glorfindel was correct, he gave him a lingering kiss and started towards the bathing chamber. When Glorfindel started to follow, Erestor stopped him and said, "If you want me to leave then you will stay out of the bathing chamber."
Pulling Erestor against him in a crushing embrace, he nuzzled his neck, "I suppose you are right."
After giving Glorfindel another passionate, lingering kiss, Erestor quickly got dressed and with another delicious kiss quitted the chamber.
Glorfindel watched his Erestor leave then quickly got to work, thinking of all the things that needed to be done by this evening.

After leaving the laundry, Lostariel quickly made her way to Lord Elrond's office. She was a little intimidated by the Lord of Imladris but knew he was kind and fair. She slowed when she saw that his door was opened wide and she took a deep breath for courage. Knocking lightly on the open door she curtsied when Elrond looked up from his desk, "My Lord, may I speak with you?"
Elrond was surprised to find Lostariel standing in his doorway. She was such a beautiful little elleth (f. elf). Elrond could still remember when Glorfindel came riding into Imladris with a frightened little Elfling clinging to him. It had taken quite a lot to convince her to release her hold on him and then only when he promised to stay with her. Ever since that time she became his shadow. Feeling her nervousness, Elrond smiled and said, "Come in, Lostariel, and sit. What can I do for such a beautiful elleth?"
Sitting down in the chair in front of Lord Elrond's desk she decided to go right ahead and ask, "I wish for Glorfindel and Erestor to adopt me."
Elrond sat back and could not hide his surprise, "Have they talked to you about this?"
Blushing she said, "No, this is my idea," looking over her shoulder; she then leaned forward and whispered, "I know that they are going to bind themselves together and in doing so will not have any children of their own. They are very important to me and I want this to be my gift to them. I think they would want this too."
Smiling Elrond said, "Yes, I know they would love this very much. Did you have a time you wanted to tell them?"
"I was thinking, that is if it was not too soon, I could present the papers to them at the feasting celebration," she said hopefully.
Thinking, Elrond said, "I think I could have the papers written up by then. I will do it personally since this is a surprise for Erestor."
Not able to contain her joy, Lostariel ran around the desk and impulsively hugged Elrond tightly. When she realized what she was doing, though, she pulled out of his arms and blushed deeply, "I am sorry, My Lord, I do not know what came over me," she stammered.
Chuckling Elrond tapped her on her nose and said, "Erestor and Glorfindel are two very lucky ellyn (m. elf)."
Blushing even more, she whispered, "Thank you My Lord. If you will excuse me, I have some chores to do," curtsying once more she skipped from the room.

Erestor sighed as he closed the ledger that he had been working on. Melpomaen had kept things organized when he was gone so he did not have too much back work to do. Erestor would need to come up with a thank you present for Mel for his help the last few days. He thought of Glorfindel and smiled, he would need to talk to Mel about taking on his duties for a few more days because he was most determined to be on his binding holiday. He would need to talk to Glorfindel and tell him that he was ready to bond; he did not want to wait any longer. Eager to see his meleth (love), he put the ledgers away. After locking the door to his study he quickly made his way to Glorfindel's chambers.
The first thing Erestor noticed when entering the antechamber was the aroma of food; not just any food, but his favorite: roast fowl in a cranberry glaze, caramelized greens, and creamed potatoes. Smiling, Erestor walked through the bedchamber door and came to a halt as he looked around at the vision before him. The chamber was alit with dozens of candles, vases of beautiful flowers were all over the room, rugs laid in front of the fire, a meal was set out on a table next to the doors leading to the balcony, and the most wonderful of all, Glorfindel in his lounging robe, leaning against the bedpost of the bed which was covered in silk sheets. At seeing Glorfindel standing there with desire in his deep blue eyes, all Erestor could do was gulp for air.
Glorfindel devoured Erestor with his eyes. Slowly walking toward him, he said in a low voice, "It is about time, melui nín (my sweet)."
At the sound of Glorfindel's voice, a shudder of desire raced down his spine. He held his breath as he watched Glorfindel approach him. When he reached him and stood mere inches from him, Erestor could not help swaying towards him.
Glorfindel smiled as Erestor leaned forward and he quickly wrapped him into his arms and captured his lips. As Erestor sighed, Glorfindel deepened the kiss, threading his fingers into his hair.
Erestor whimpered as he felt Glorfindel rub against him. Finally breaking apart for breath, "I have missed you, meleth nín, and I can tell that you missed me as well," looking around the room again, "You know that there is no need to seduce me, I am already yours," he said, then smiled up at Glorfindel.
Glorfindel caressed Erestor's cheek, "Bind with me, melui nín. Bind with me tonight."
Tears sprang to his eyes and Erestor wrapped his arms around Glorfindel's neck and pulled him down for another ravishing kiss, "Yes, I want to be yours forever."
Laughing with joy, Glorfindel swung Erestor up into his arms and carried him to the bed, "Gerich veleth nín, melui nín (I love you, my sweet)."
Nibbling Glorfindel's neck, he then bit the tip of his ear and whispered, "A gerithach veleth nín an-uir, Glor nín (and you will have my love forever, my Glor)."
Letting Erestor slide down his body so he stood in front of him, he slowly undressed him, tasting every inch of skin that was exposed. Smiling when he felt Erestor tremble, he lay him down onto the bed. Looking down at him, he breathed, "Ce bainon (You are so beautiful)."
Arching up, Erestor pleaded, "Touch me, meleth, saes (please)."
Leaning down Glorfindel licked then nibbled a taut nipple while gently pinching its twin. Growling low as Erestor moaned and rocked himself against him, he quickly captured Erestor's lips. Rubbing his groin against Erestor's, he kissed his way to Erestor's ear and just before he nipped the tip, said, "Take me, I want you to bind us together."
Erestor looked up as tears filled his eyes once again. Threading his fingers through Glorfindel's hair, all he could manage was a nod.
Smiling, he placed a gentle kiss on Erestor's lips then reached for one of the vials of oil on the table next to the bed. Handing it to Erestor, he started to lay on his stomach when Erestor said, "No, meleth, I want to see your eyes when I take you, when we bind our faer (souls) together."
Glorfindel lay onto his back and looked up into Erestor's eyes, letting his love shine in them, willing him to feel it.
Gasping, Erestor stared in wonder, "I can already feel you, feel your love."
Raising his knees, "Take me, melui nín, make me whole."
Opening the vial he smiled when he smelled the scent of his bathing oil fill the room.
Pouring oil upon his fingers, he then lovingly prepared his meleth until Glorfindel was arching against his fingers, "Do not make me wait any longer, melui, saes."
Quickly covering his shaft with oil he leaned down and reverently kissed Glorfindel. Staring deeply into his eyes he said, "I, Erestor, give you, Glorfindel, my love, my life, my faer for all time. I, in return, take all that you are into my keeping. May the Valar bless our union."
A tear slipped out of the corner of Glorfindel's eye and he said, "I, Glorfindel, give you, Erestor, my love, my life, my faer for all time. I, in return, take all that you are into my keeping. May the Valar bless our union."
At the completion of their vows Erestor filled Glorfindel in one fluid thrust. Stilling, he waited for Glorfindel to relax around him, "Ai! (Oh!)...Meleth nín, you feel so... good," Erestor leaned down and kissed him.
Moaning, Glorfindel wrapped his legs around Erestor's waist, "Saes, melui nín, move...ai...gerich veleth nín (I love you)."
Erestor started moving into Glorfindel with slow deep thrusts, "Meleth, I feel you, around me, in me, everywhere," Erestor panted.
Glorfindel arched up to meet each thrust, feeling their faer combine, feeling Erestor in him, everywhere. Their bodies pulsed, vibrating with the harmony of their faer as they climaxed together.
"ERESTOR!"
"GLORFINDEL!"
Erestor fell on top of Glorfindel, breathing hard. Tears ran down both their faces to mingle together as they lay in the glow of their love, their bond. The chamber was alight with the radiance of their skin which glowed brighter than any flame.
Glorfindel wrapped his arms possessively around his hervenn (husband) and held him close. When Erestor went to draw out of him and roll to his side, Glorfindel held him tighter and said, "No, hervenn, do not leave me just yet. Let me hold you for a few minutes more."
Smiling Erestor said through his tears, "Call me that again."
"Hervenn nín (My husband)."
Finally Glorfindel released Erestor and he slid down to lay against his side, "Did I hurt your side? Are you okay?"
Seeing the concern in his eyes, Glorfindel caressed Erestor's cheek and said, "I have never been better in my life, either of them. I can feel our bond, I can feel you in me."
Smiling, Erestor sweetly kissed him and said, "Yes, I feel it too."
Settling more closely against Glorfindel, they both soon fell into reverie.
