His portrait gloats down, mocking. Earlier, happier days, Karl's jacket. Here on Karl's butter-soft leather couch in Karl's house, well, theirs now, the redhead wills his photographic image to turn its back. Yes, his big, toppish, one-helluva-fine-specimen-of-a-man boyfriend is off to Sydney, going gooshy over some female. The freedom he grants him hurts. Dave's here, staring up at his own smug face and feeling incredibly shitty over his current distraction.

"Deeper, Craig!" he chokes, grabbing handfuls of spiky jet hair. The names are too similar; David bites his tongue, willing midnight-blue eyes near his groin to hazel, or at least to close.
