He doesn't look at men and he doesn't find men beautiful, and he doesn't fall in love with men.

So when Viggo passes him by--in the afternoon when the sun is yellow and the shadows under the trees are green--and looks up into Sean's eyes and smiles--and in his eyes there's nothing at all--Sean can smile back and keep on walking, and still the sun is yellow and the shadows green, for Sean is not in love with a beautiful man, and nothing in Sean's heart is dying.
