Summary: In a dream, Haldir came to me and told me he is happy in Aman. Haldir's POV

*****

(Haldir attacks an orc from behind him, as he kills the orc, another one strikes him on the left side. He kills that orc with a slice through the belly. He looks at his left arm almost in disbelief. He turns and another orc strikes him from behind in the back.)

(Haldir falls to his knees. Aragorn climbs the steps to the wall to get to Haldir. Aragorn comes up behind Haldir grabbing him. Haldir dies as soon as Aragorn grabs him, his head falls back into the crook of Aragorn's elbow. Aragorn puts his had on his chest, then onto Haldir's chest. As more orcs approach, he puts Haldir down and continues to fight with them...)

The S
hores of Aman

Umm... the breeze is so comfortable, so fresh, I do not smell blood in it, and it doesn't smell like a battle field. Where am I? Ah! I remember now, I was killed by the nasty Urû-Khai, goddamned Urû-Khai! I open my eyes and look around. Here it is so beautiful, much more beautiful than Lothlórien. Everywhere it is so pure, so calm. Wait a minute, where are the others? I'm not the only one who was killed in Helm's Deep, where are the others? Weren't they sent here also? I left the White Shores and walk toward ... somewhere, a forest. I walk into the silver forest and try to find my kin. But I get lost. How can an elf that grew up in the forest get lost? I am so desperate.

"Are you lost?" A gentle voice came from behind me.

I turn around and stop dead (Well, I am dead already.) I see no one but Gil-Galad. The last High King of the Noldor stood in front of me. "I think so, my king." I answer while placing my hand over my chest and bow to him.

"Do I know you?" He sounds curious.

Oh yes, of course he doesn't know me. I was just mere soldier in the Battle of the Last Alliance. He always fought near my lord Celeborn, King Oropher and the crown Prince Thranduil, his herald Lord Elrond and those from Imladris such as Lord Glorfindel and Lord Erestor. I am still wondering why Lord Erestor was there? Did they need a 'library' during the war time? Anyway, I answer and still keep my head low. "My name is Haldir, my king. I read your history." I don't why I did not tell him I was in the Battle of Dagorlad.

"I see, raiser your head. Welcome to Aman." He looks at me with gentle smile. "Let me bring you out of here, just follow me." He winks at me and turns around and walks back the way I came from. I go after him without thinking.

"It seems you are lost in someway. You must have some unfinished business left in your heart before you came here," He looks at me with a kind smile. "It's the reason why elves get lost when they arrive here." He talks with me with his friendly voice when we leave the forest.

Did I have any unfinished business? Let me think, umm... I can't remember. It is definitely not the reason why Lord Erestor was in the Battle of the Last Alliance but...

"Here." The High King's voice brings me back from thinking.

This place is so... so... God bless me! I can't find a word to describe it.

"It is wonderful, isn't it?" He smiles at me again and asks me to follow him to his house. On the way, I see lots of my kin. Hey wait a minute, I know this face. This is Sadron, my herald. I ask the High King to wait for me for a moment. I must greet my herald.

"Mae Govannen, Sadron." I bow my head and greet to him. (Well Met!)

"My captain!" He sounds surprise when he sees me in front of him. "I am happy to see you again; however, we are in the wrong place." I see a tear appear in the corner of his eyes. Yes, he is right, we shouldn't meet each other here, and he does not belong here. He is young and full of energy. He should have a beautiful life in Lothlórien; I feel sorry for him. I would like to talk with him a bit longer but I can't keep the King waiting for too long. I bid him good bye and walk back to Gil-Galad and follow him to go back to his place.

In a short time, we stop in front of double wooden framed doors. This place perfectly fits the stature of the High King. We are greeted by maidens who are waiting at the front door. The King invites me to the sitting hall.

The sitting hall isn't that big but the simple furniture made me feel warm. Gil-Galad indicates that I should sit down on a sofa which is near the fireplace.

"Would you like a drink?" Gil-Galad asks when he walks toward the table standing next to a book shelf. He pours some wine into two glasses. He hands me one of the glasses. I sip a little bit and yes, it's very good claret. I love it very much.

"It seems you like this wine. This is from the First Age." He smiles at me and sips his wine.

"Well, I'm honoured that I have a chance to taste this kind of wine. There was no wine like this available in Lothlorien."

"So, you're one of the Galadhrim." He cut in.

"Yes, I am one of the captains to Lord Celeborn."

"I see." He nods. "Sorry for interruption, please continue."

Umm... where did I get to? Oh yes, the wine and Lord Celeborn. "Lord Celeborn finished all of them with those guests who stayed in the Golden Wood. Especially when he was with Lord Erestor, they drank lots of wine together."

"Ah! Erestor..." Gil-Galad sighs. "I remember he didn't get drunk easily. How is he? Does he live well in Rivendell?" The King asks with concern.

"Aye," I answer after I take another sip of wine. "He lives happily with Lord Glorfindel; they make a very good couple." It seems The King is happy with this news, but I see there is a sad emotion upon his glorious face. I never pay attention about this King before. But today, I do figure out how gorgeous is he. I do find that I can't take my eyes off of him. My mind goes blank until I hear he calls out my name.

"Haldir of Lórien, are you alright?" He asks me with his musical voice. "You were staring at me." He grins at me.

"Err... I'm sorry my Lord. I just...." My face blushes red and I lower my head.

"It doesn't matter. No more formal titles, I'm just Gil-glad, not a King or Lord anymore."

"My... Gil-Galad, you look a little bit sad when I mention Master Erestor and Lord Glorfindel."

"Ah... indeed." He sighs. "I fell in love with him when I met him. Love at first sight. You know what I mean," He finishes his glass of wine and fills it again. "But I knew his heart did not belong to me."

"How did you know? Did he tell you how he felt?" I ask with confusion. "Or did you tell him yours?"

"No. I had no need to ask the question when I already knew the answer." He answers and stands next to the table.

"I think you have an advantage."

"Why do you think that?" He asks and raises his eye brows.

"I think you were very close with Master Erestor in Lindon."

"You knew he was from Lindon before he stayed in Imladris as a chief counsellor?"

"Umm..." I reply after I sip my wine.

"But do you know he lived in Gondolin before Lindon?"

"Gondolin?" I am surprised by the name I just hear. "What you meant is Lord Erestor was born in Gondolin?"

"I do not know if he was born in Gondolin or not, but I do know that he was living there with Glorfindel for a very long time," He took another sip of his wine and walked towards me. "He was one of the young counsellors to King Turgon. He is so talented in lore and diplomacy." He stopped and filled my glass before he walked back to his seat.

"By the way, who told you about Erestor?"

"Lord Celeborn told me."

"Ah, I see," He sips his wine and looks at me. "But he didn't tell you more about Erestor, did he?"

"No. Because he said that's Erestor's private matter. Therefore I didn't keep on asking."

"That's the truth." He smiles.

"But I am still curious about the mystery counsellor," I blush myself because I said the wrong thing. "I'm sorry for surprising you." I drink the wine at once and I feel like an idiot.

"Curiosity is living inside any one of us," He smiles again. "So do you still want to know more about Erestor?" He asks and a grin shows upon his face.

"Not really," I reply. "I think we should leave him his privacy."

"How kind of you," He said and looked out the window. "Well, it's almost time for dinner. How about refreshing yourself before we eat?" He smiles and takes my glass.

He put down the glasses, then he pulled a cord which ran a bell. In minutes, a soft knock on the door sounded. "Come." He answers the door and a maiden comes in and bows her head.

"Yes, my lord. How may I help you?"

"Could you please prepare a room for our brave warrior and show him the way?" He winks at me.

"Absolutely." She bows to Gil-Galad once more and walks toward me and smiles. "My lord," She bows to me. "Please follow me."

"Err... I'm Haldir," I return a smile. "Just call my given name please. I'm not used to someone using titles with me."

"I understand." She says with her bland voice before she turns her back to me.

"Thank you." I bow my head to Gil-Galad. Then I follow the maiden out of the room.

"Listen for the bell's ring." He speaks with smile. "And we will see you in the dining room soon."

"I'll be there on time." I bow to him once before I step out the door.

~~~
I dressed myself in a simple moss green tunic and dark green leggings. I braided my hair in many braids and pulled them back away from my eyes. I walk out my room after I take the final check of my outfit in the full length mirror. The dinner is wonderful. No one else joins our meal. Gil-Galad tells me only himself and few of his servants live in this house and sometime he thinks this house is too big for the few of them.
During the dinner, we shared many things. I told him about my lord and my lady, my family and lots of happy memories. I tried to avoid sad topics but he wished to know what had happened after his death. I sighed and told him that the Ring wasn't destroyed and the dark lord had risen again. Lord Elrond gathered a fellowship and sent them to destroy the Ring. I told him about the Battle of Helm's Deep and how I was killed.
"I should have doubted the volition of men more." He sighed and shook his head.
"That's why I never trust men and dwarves." I said with a little anger.
"Don't be so biased," He smiled at me and continued. "I won't deny men are easily deceived, but they will stand strong and fight for good. And one day, they will rule Middle-Earth."
"Yes if the dark lord is destroyed." I smirked at him before I sip my wine.
"How can you be sure the dark lord and the Ring will survive?" He cocks up his head and asks. "Not even the Valar can be sure of everything."
"So," I question him after I take the other sip. "Did you hear about the Hobbit? A Halfling?"
"Not really." He sounds confused. "What is it about?"
"A Hobbit. A race of half-sized persons ." I tried to explain to him from memory because I met them only when they were the guests of my lady, "They don't even know how to fight. As you know, Mordor is a dangerous place in Middle-Earth. Even though Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn and Boromir are with them, the chance for success is rare." I spoke with sorrow and my eyes never left my glass.
I heard him sigh then he speaks. "We can do noting but trust them. Don't worry so much. The peace for Middle-Earth will come." He shakes his head. "Cheer up boy, everything will be fine. Right, tell me about those who go with the hobbit."
Yes, Gil-Galad is right. We can do nothing but wait. I lift up my head and look at him. "Hobbits, there are four of them in the fellowship. They are Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin."
"Alright, then tell me about the others." I see him smile again when I lift my head. "Who are the rest of the fellowship?"
"Legolas Thranduilion represents Elves." I explain.
"Thranduilion," He murmurs. "Son of Thranduil?"
"Yes, he is very like his father."
"Is he stubborn as his father?" He murmurs.
"Er..." I really don't know how to answer his question.
"Please forget what I just said." It seems he's so excited to know what happened after his death. "Please continue."
"I met King Thranduil and Legolas a few times when I escorted Lord Celeborn to Mirkwood," He nods. "Aragorn and Boromir are the representatives of Men. Boromir is the son of Denethor, Steward of Gondor. He is nice but I do not really like him. And Aragorn, son of Arathron. He was raised up in Imladris and is one of my close friends. He knows elvish and is very fond of Lady Arwen."
"Lady Arwen?" He asks curiously.
"Lady Arwen is the youngest daughter of Lord Elrond."
"He has a daughter!" He cut in and exclaims. "Who is the lucky lady?"
"Lady Celebrían of Lothlórien," I smile when I remember her beautiful complexion. "Also she is the mother of the twin sons, Elladan and Elrohir."
"So, Elrond is a father of three," He chuckles and shakes his head. "I can't imagine Elrond's life with three children. Especially when he has twins."
"What do you mean? Elladan and Elrohir are very kind and nice."
"Did you know them when they were young?" He cocks his head. "Did you meet them by then?"
"No," I reply and sip the wine. "But how do you know about them?"
"Don't you know Elrond had a twin brother as well?"
"Oh yes," this time it's me who exclaims. "Lord Elros, King of Númenor . I forgot you were with them before. Now I do know what you mean." We both laugh out loud.
"Well, I haven't laughed like this for ages." He looked at me and I find that there are shining tears at the corner of his eyes. It seems he really enjoys my company. "Haldir, the dining room isn't a comfortable place to talk. Come to my room and we will continue." He stands up and grabs a few bottles of wine. He motions me to follow and I do so without hesitating.
He thanked me when I opened the door for him. The room is quite comfortable. The wall is decorated by the reflexion of lighted candles. The fireplace is lit as well. Two cushion covered sofas are near the fireplace and a woolly carpet is placed in between them. On opposite side of the fireplace was a four-poster bed. The bed is covered by a royal blue comforter made of fine silk. The bed had a meticulous crafted wooden headboard. The canopy is made by the same material as the comforter but embossed with silver threads in a pattern of a star of radiance for Gil-Galad, the star of radiance. All those things in the room impress me a lot including the King himself. How would it feel if we both were naked and laying on top? I am called back when he calls my name.
"Haldir?" I turn around and see he has set the bottle down. He looks at me and chuckles. I feel the flush on my face from what I had been thinking. I see a grin show on his face while he takes two glasses out. He speaks when he is pouring the wine.
"What impressed you?" I hear his laugh slightly.
"I have never seen a gorgeous chamber like this," I try to hide my thinking. "Even the room of Lord Cele..." I trail off, lower my head and I feel hot on my face. I steal a peek at him when he walks next to me and hands me a glass of wine.
"Ah..." He sips his wine and guides me to sit down on one of the sofas near the fire. "Celeborn must be having a hard time when the bad news of your death reached him." I lower my head and my eyes fix on my glass.
"Do not worry about him. He is strong and will survive. You'll live in his heart forever."
The memories of Lord Celeborn continue to pop up in my mind; my tears fall down into my wine. I'm shivering and sobbing. I feel him approaching and he takes the glass from me. At this moment I feel empty. In a second, he embraces me. He strokes my hair.
"Take it easy." Soothing words from his angelic mouth. "I know it's hard for you as well." He rocks me slightly. "I'm sorry to keep you so late. I think you're tired, you should rest yourself. I will take you back to your room."
"Can I stay?" I whisper with my trembling voice.
"Of course you can." He lifts me up and leads me to his bed. I sit on the edge of the bed and he kneels in front of me and helps me to take off my boots. Then he lays me down and covers me with the silk covers. "You'll feel better after a good rest." He says it softly and places a kiss on my forehead like my father did to me when I was an elfling. After that he turns around and walks toward the sofa.
I catch his wrist just before he turns around. "Aren't you staying with me?"
"Yes, I am." He smiles. "I will stay in the sofa there." He points to the sofa next to the window frame of balcony.
"Would you like to stay in bed with me?" I ask without shame. Maybe I really don't want to be alone, at least for tonight.
"As you wish." He places another kiss on my cheek. Then he pulls his tunic over his head and I stare at him. His broad chest takes my breath away immediately.
"Oh... I'm sorry." He puts his tunic back with a little embarrassment. "I get used to sleeping with my sleeping pants only." He explains. "I just like the feeling when the silk touches my skin." Then he gets nn bed on the side. "Sleep well." Another kiss on my forehead and he turns his back on me and sleeps.
~~~

The sky-like canopy makes me sleepless. In fact, not really. It's my mind that won't allow me to sleep. And I'm not the only one who can't sleep. I feel as he squirms his body slightly. I know he isn't sleeping either. I place my hand on his shoulder. "I don't mind you take off your shirt if it can help you sleep better."

He rolls over and looks at me with hesitation. I say nothing as I straddle him. I lift his shirt over his head without asking. I dump his shirt on the floor and touch his lips with mine. He doesn't push me away, he closes his eyes, parts his mouth and enjoys my invasion. I feel his hold me tighten when our tongues are fighting for dominance.

"Are you seducing me?" He asks with a grin when we part for breathing.

"Yes, I am." I hiss into his ear and lick it from his earlobe to the tip of ear.

He chucks me under my chin and rolls me on my back. "You helped me take my shirt off, now let me help you." He pulls my tunic over my head and dumps it on the side of the bed. Our gazes never leave each other; I see his lust in his eyes and as he sees mine. Our lips touch again with passion. Our hands explore each other restlessly. Our vein burn with fire. His lips leave mind and move to my ear. I moan when he licks the tip of my ear. He licks and kisses my ear lobe, my cheek, my lips, my chin then down to my collarbone. He sucks slightly and leaves a bruise on my skin. He caresses my body with his wonderful tongue and mouth inch by inch. He licks, sucks and plays my nipples and moves down to my belly. His hands are busy unlacing my leggings when he kisses my navel. I lift my butt and let him slide my leggings off. He smiles when he sees my already hard length spring free. I moan suddenly when he envelopes my member in his hot mouth.

Again he uses his skilful tongue and mouth to play with my length. He grabs the bottom of my arousal and sucks and licks the mushroom like head. Sometimes he will hold my sac and squeeze slightly. Oh! It's wonderful. It's going to kill me. I thrust into his mouth involuntarily. He doesn't pin my hip on the mattress like Celeborn. He lets me thrust deep into his throat. I can't stop myself. I pump it faster and faster. In a minute, I cry out loud and empty myself deep into his throat. I lift my head and look down at him. I see him drink all my seed and lick it clean before I lay down and close my eyes and try to catch my breath. Then I feel his weight on me, his lips cover mine and I taste myself from him. We part for breath and he moves my hair from my sweaty face. "Please take me." I whisper.

"Are you sure?" He asks softly. "You just..." I stop him by placing my finger on his lips.

"Please don't argue." My finger still stays on his lips. "Do you have oil?"

"Aye," He answers and kisses my finger. His hand reaches into the drawer of the side table. In a second, he takes out a phial of oil. "It may work." He winks at me. He opens the stopper and an aroma of sandalwood fills up the room. He puts some of the oil into his rough and strong hand; then he places the oil on the top of the side table. He rubs it on his both hands evenly. He sits himself between my legs and prepares my entrance for his use. I feel a finger penetrate my tight muscle.

"More." I beg. Then the other finger is added with the first one. "Oh... yes..." I hiss. "Can I ask you something?" I twist my body when he scissors his fingers.

"Of course you can, my love." His eyes never leave mind.

"Can you please stop torturing me?"

"You are so wanton," He chuckles. A sigh of disappointment escapes my mouth when he pulls his fingers out of my body. "No more begging. I'll give you what you want," He kisses my cheek. "Now." He takes the oil and pours it out again. He rubs a little bit and coats his already-hard-for-use flesh. He aims at my prepared opening and pushes through my ring.

We moan together when his sac touches the access of my tunnel. His dong is thick, thicker than Celeborn, really.

"You feel so good." He hisses. "Should I move?"

"Yes, please." I open my eyes and smile at him.

Then he moves his hips forward and backward; long and slow. I push my butt up and meet his rhythm. We both enjoy the moment we are sharing right now. We say nothing but moan with pleasure. He leans on me and I wrap him in my arms. Some scratch marks show on his back when he increases his speed. Yes, he is powerful. Just imagine that he is wielding his spear - Aeglos on the battlefield. He pierces me likes he slaughtered those ugly orcs but takes mercy on me. He catches my half way hard arousal and shakes it up and down with his own beat. The friction between us is increasing. The amount of sweat on our bodies is increasing. The volume of our groans is increasing. And yes, I can't hold anymore. I reach my climax when I cry his name. I spill myself onto his wonderful hand and my stomach. I feel his head rest on my shoulder and he hoarsely whispers my name. My own muscles tighten around his erection and bring him to his own climax. He empties himself in my passage. Then he shivers and collapses on me and tries to catch his breath. His soften member is still inside my body. "Thank you." I hold him tight in my arms.

"You're welcome." He lifts his body and rolls next to me. I smile at him and place a kiss on his lips. Next he climb down from the bed and walks toward the bath chamber. He comes back with a small basin of water and a towel. He wets the towel and cleans up my sticky body then his own. He places the dirty towel into the basin and takes them back to the bath chamber and climbs back on the bed to me.

"I think you can sleep well now?" The King snickers at me and pulls me close. I nod and rest my head on his upper arm and wrap my arm around his chest. I hold my head up and see a satisfied smile on his face then sleep comes to me eventually.

~~~
The next morning, I feel refresh and no longer confused. The question in my mind is gone even though I can't remember what it was about. I see Gil-Galad sleeping in peace with a smile on his handsome face. I'm smiling while I trace his cheek carefully and try not to wake him. But it seems I fail. He murmurs and opens his eyes slowly.
"You are awake. Have a nice sleep?"
"Umm..." I move closer and place my head on his shoulder and hand on his chest. "And you?"
"Yes." He pauses. "Well, I believe that it's time for you to prepare..."
"Prepare? To leave?" I cut in and feel disappointed. I never thought about him wanting me to leave.
"Leave?" He laughs slightly. "Who told you to leave?" He holds me tight in his embrace. "Ah... I understand." He laughs even louder. "You misunderstand me, my love. What I meant is preparing yourself to settle here. You don't think I'd kick you out of my house after we slept together?"
"I..." I lose the words and blush.
"Oh, my love... how can I abandon an adorable elf like you?" I say nothing and he continues. "By the way, I take it you have no where to go," He places a kiss on my forehead. "Will you stay with me? I have been alone for a very long time."
"I will."
