How did you come to fan-fiction/slash writing? I began writing after reading one too many dreadful Mary Sue story and saying "I could do better than that!"

How do you come up with ideas for stories? By playing around with "What if..? scenarios in my head. By chatting to other writers online. By spending far too much time thinking about what Legolas looks like in the nude.

What do you do to overcome writer's block? Just have a rest from writing for a few days. Ideas ferment in my mind and when I sit down to write again, the words come more easily.

Do you use music as a soundtrack for your writing. Nope. Silence is golden.

Is there a certain time of day you usually sit down to write? Whenever I can find the time! Evenings mostly I suppose.

Have you or would you write stories "on request" for readers? I've written birthday stories and stories from other people's plot bunnies. If someone had a suitable idea, I would consider writing for them.

Which of your own stories do you like best? "Advice" is the funniest, I think. "Advice Taken" probably the best written. "Virgin on the Ridiculous" is the hottest.

What do you think, why the mostly female writers in slash make up stories about male/male relationships? Because there are some fantastic descriptions of the male anatomy in all its beauty! And because we can create idealized males who could not possibly exist in real life. Having created them, we don't want to share them with other women. But we want them to have sex. So we pair them with other males.

Do you have muses who help you with your stories? Yes, they are reading this over my shoulder. Legolas keeps correcting my grammar.
If yes, who are they? Legolas, Gimli and Aragorn. Gimli is the one with chocolate biscuit crumbs in his beard. Legolas is the one licking the crumbs out of said beard. Aragorn is the one asking Gimli if there are any biscuits left.

What do you think is your trademark in stories and why? My trademark is finding comedy in sexual situations. Or sex in comedic situations. Not sure which.

What part of your writing do you think still needs improvement? I still work with only a very limited range of characters. I should broaden out. I also ought to consider writing non-slash stories and original fiction.

Is there something you would never write? Never say never! Oh, I just did. Piddle!
