Favourite Story in Archive: That would be the ‘Storm Kiss’ series by Kharessa Bloodrose, and Larien’s ‘Tatoo’ and Lady Hawk’s Shadow ‘I drink to thee’ too.
Favourite Character (real / fictional): How does one chose that? Elrond? Gandalf? Frodo? Sam?
Most Hated Character: Don’t have one really. The bad guys make the story, don’t they? *kicks Maeglin when no one is watching*
Favourite Movie: ROTK
Favourite Book: FOTR
How did you come to fan-fiction writing? Found an addy to the Library of Moria in the Portuguese Premiere magazine, followed it, started reading like mad and then the bunnies jumped in.
How do you come up with ideas for stories? Reading Tolkien, walking in the woods, eating dinner… Living life, I guess. Then I try to direct the bunny to a definite goal, but they are too quick for me and end up doing what they want. :)
What do you do to overcome writer's block? I let it go away by itself, while I’m doing other things and not worrying about it.
Have you written in any other fandom? No.
Do you use music as a soundtrack for your writing? If yes, what kind? Yes. Various: Tori Amos can be very important and REM too but my sources are diversified.
Is there a certain time of day you usually sit down to write? Nope. I’m highly averse to any sort of routine.
Have you or would you write stories "on request" for readers? I have written one for a Secret Friend challenge and it was very interesting. I would probably do it.
Which of your own stories do you like best? The Sweetness Follows
Do you have muses who help you with your stories? If yes, who are they? Tolkien, Tori.
What do you think is your trademark in stories and why? I write about how people are wrong about themselves and others and how they learn and grow. There’s always some sadness and some joy mixed, though not always in equal parts and the endings tend to be hopeful, though not the ‘lived forever’ type.
What part of your writing do you think still needs improvement? I need to focus more on the outside world. I’m too obsessed with the inner life. As for technical aspects, my greatest challenges are the use of POV without constant shifting and show more and tell less.
Is there something you would never write? Child abuse and its glorification.
