How did you come to fan-fiction writing? Searching for Elrond in Yahoo groups, found ElrondsSlaves, started reading Sorsha’s stories and commenting, said I had stories not written down. She pestered me to submit. I did, and was well-received.

How do you come up with ideas for stories? I have so mnay I can’t get them all written down. They attack right and left. I have an overactive imagination.

What do you do to overcome writer's block? Never had that problem, just the opposite. Every time I go to write, I go over what has come before in a story to maintain the feel and tone, then visualize what would the person experience/feel/ be up to next. Mostly, I don’t even need to though. It’s a raging river and I have to catch what is flowing past quickly. I never say all that to anyone, because they might think I was being an ass, but you asked.

Have you written in any other fandom? If yes, where can your stories be found? No, but had a novel IP last that I had set aside at 32,000 words. The prodding to submit in fanfic was what I needed.

Do you use music as a soundtrack for your writing? If yes, what kind? Yes, all kinds from Celtic, New Age, Rock, and Show Tunes to silly pop songs and a bit of classical. Some examples: Enya, James Galway, Natalie MacMaster, Harpsong, Howard Shore, John Williams, Bobby Mcfarin, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Bernadette Peters, Michael Buble, Arthur Fiedler, EKO, Ray Lynch, Bonnie Raitt, Carly Simon, James Taylor, Queen Latifah, Charlotte Church, George Davidson, Backstreet Boys and more. Never hard rock anymore or hip-hop but my tastes are quite wide in scope.

Is there a certain time of day you usually sit down to write? No! But I should be more organized. I do make sure I post at least one chapter per week.

Have you or would you write stories "on request" for readers? Not yet, but I’m failry new to writing fanfic. I would if they were LOTR characters since I know them best.

Which of your own stories do you like best? Well, as far as fanfic, I am on my first, Shards, so that would have to be it.

Do you have muses who help you with your stories? If yes, who are they? Elrond. Hugo Weaving in all his incarnations. Such a gifted and talented actor, able to touch one’s mind and soul deeply, dispalying every emotion in a wide gamut subtly and in a very real fashion.

What do you think is your trademark in stories and why? Strong females and a connection of love and compassion between the chaacters. Chacters who have internal battles to fight, yet get on with the job at hand, whatever that mey be.

What part of your writing do you think still needs improvement? My typing. I switch letters dyslexically all the time. I type very quickly but moslty with only two fingers. I tried any number of times but could never use all ten, despite the best ot lessons, etc.

Is there something you would never write? Underage porn, rape, torture. Perhaps the last two I would only include in an implied fashion as a memory, but not the details of the actual event.
