Age: 26
Gender: f
Relationship Status: Single.
Home: Portugal.
Occupation: German/English lit student. Boring job at a cell-phone
network.
Hobbies: Compulsive reading; compulsive shopping of dvd’s/cd’s;
hanging out in cafés with my friends (national hobby); freaking out
the brainless people at work with cryptic one-liners; drunken writing.
Dislikes: Conformity; narrow-minded, prejudiced or just plain
brainless/boring people.
Seen LOTR/TTT in cinema how often?: 1 / 2 in the cinema,
countless on dvd.
*****
Favorite Character (real / fictional): Bean / Túrin and Boromir.
Most Hated Character: Denethor.
Favorite Movie: Other than the obvious, Crash
/ Fight Club.
Favorite Book: Again, I’m excluding Tolkien’s work. Death
is a lonely business‘by Ray Bradbury is the one that springs to mind,
but there are so many... Shelley’s Adonais in the poetry department.
How did you come to fan-fiction/slash writing?
I stumbled across Haldir’s Whores (now Haldir’s Harem) while searching
the net for information on Haldir.
How do you come up with ideas for stories? I don’t usually
have any concrete ideas when I start writing. It’s more like an itch
demanding to be scratched, I don’t get a say in it. Music often gives
me that itch.
What do you do to overcome writer's block? I get writer’s block
every time I start to write, it’s become part of the process. Music
helps.
Have you written in any other fandom? If yes, where can your stories be found?
Equilibrium. Not posted yet, but it will be here I guess.
Do you use music as a soundtrack for your writing? If yes, what kind?
Brit pop. Punk. Anything that makes me feel angry, in a good way.
Is there a certain time of day you usually sit down to write? Not
consistently, but fiction usually comes at the most unholy hours (i.e. 4/5
am) . Mornings are good for poetry.
Have you or would you write stories "on request" for readers?
Once. Would again, depending on the person.
Which of your own stories do you like best? So
Young. Tore right through my guts, that one.
What do you think, why the mostly female writers in slash make up stories
about male/male relationships? Beats
me... Exploring unknown territory?
Do you have muses who help you with your stories? If yes, who are they?
I like to say I have a Bean muse, but most days he’s more of a Bean
bitch.
What do you think is your trademark in stories and why? Lifestyle
description, whatever that means. I’m fascinated by extreme lifestyles,
be they extremely dangerous, extremely dysfunctional or just extremely boring.
What part of your writing do you think still needs improvement? Everything!
Alright, mostly vocabulary and a tendency for endless description. And I’ve
yet to write a sex scene worthy of the name.
Is there something you would never write? Chanslash because it’s
illegal, bestiality because it squicks me, hurt/comfort because it annoys
the hell out of me these days. Not much else, I’m pretty much open-minded.
