Seen LOTR in cinema how often? Thrice each installment. Have worn out FOTR Extended DVD, though.

****

Favorite Story in Archive: Several. I’ve practically memorized "Wine and Snow" and there’s something about "How You Remind Me" that keeps drawing me back (probably just hits too close to home).

Favorite Character (real / fictional): Real: Sean Bean edges out Viggo Mortensen (might be why Boromir action figure rides in the car with me and Aragorn doesn’t). Fictional: Aragorn rules, although I’m not tossing Legolas out for eating lembas in bed.

Most Hated Character: Arwen. It probably has more to do with Liv Tyler’s interpretation of her than anything Tolkien wrote. Other than that, I can deal with just about anybody.

Favorite Movie: Other than LOTR? Currently sitting on DVD player are "Boondock Saints," "A Knight’s Tale," "A Perfect Murder" and "Patriot Games."

Favorite Book: Of all time, "Le Petit Prince" followed by "Hotel Transylvania" and "Fire From Heaven."

How did you come to fan-fiction/slash writing? By way of vampires. Slash seemed natural because het scenes always came across to me as too Mary Sue when I was trying to work through them. Not sure how I transitioned to RPS. I’m sure it was a totally logical progression.

How do you come up with ideas for stories? Everywhere. Snippets of conversation. Dreams. Watching the movie another time.

What do you do to overcome writer's block? Bang my head against the wall a few times. Doesn’t work, but it makes me forget the writer’s block while I get some aspirin.

Have you written in any other fandom? If yes, where can your stories be found? Yes. Did some pieces in "Kindred: The Embraced" fandom and an offshoot vampire AU; web archives defunct.

Do you use music as a soundtrack for your writing? If yes, what kind? Music seduces me into a mood. Listening a lot lately to Stabbing Westward and Squeeze, an incredibly disturbing combination.

Is there a certain time of day you usually sit down to write? Whenever I have the time. Known to scribble slashy vignettes during budget meetings at the paper.

Have you or would you write stories "on request" for readers? No. Yes.

Which of your own stories do you like best? The one I haven’t written yet.

What do you think, why the mostly female writers in slash make up stories about male/male relationships? A desire to experience something vicariously that we can never understand realistically? That was philosophical for "I don’t have a clue." I like guys with guys.

Do you have muses who help you with your stories? If yes, who are they? Anyone who offers feedback qualifies as a muse. Other than that, the action figures sitting on my computer.

What do you think is your trademark in stories and why? Word choice. Powerful images in short space. I self-edit (some say too much), striving for perfection. Wickedly bent sense of humor.

What part of your writing do you think still needs improvement? Finishing what I start.

Is there something you would never write? Aragorn/Arwen. As I said earlier, I have Arwen issues. And male pregnancy; no taste for it.
