How did you come to fan-fiction/slash writing? Through the groups I joined a couple of years ago – wish I had found them a lot earlier!

How do you come up with ideas for stories? Sometimes things just pop into my head; others come about through comments people have made when giving me feedback on my stories. There are times too when l go to bed and all of a sudden I’ll start getting ideas – and not just ideas, but actual pieces of conversation...most times I can remember them when I then actually get down to writing.

What do you do to overcome writer's block? Take a break and do something else – I find that I can then go back and write some more.

Have you written in any other fandom? If yes, where can your stories be found? No – this is my first. While I have read other fandoms since I joined, I'm not inspired to write about them.

Do you use music as a soundtrack for your writing? If yes, what kind? The inspiration for my story 'Reflections’ came from the song 'Amazed’ by Lonestar. Since then I've used part of the lyrics from some songs for other stories if I feel they fit into what I'm writing. But I’m always playing a CD while I’m on the computer. Artists? Evanescence, Lonestar, Trisha Yearwood, The Seekers (an Australian band from the 1960s), Josh Groban, Keith Urban, Elan, Faith Hill, Bif Naked, The Calling, Dido, Goo Goo Dolls, Martina McBride – the list is endless!

Is there a certain time of day you usually sit down to write? In the evening usually – that’s my time on the computer while hubby is parked in front of the television and the kid’s in bed.

Have you or would you write stories "on request" for readers? No, I haven’t, and don’t know.

Which of your own stories do you like best? I haven't written all that many, but out of what have written, probably 'A Picnic in the Snow', the first story in 'The Four Seasons' series.

Do you have muses who help you with your stories? If yes, who are they? Not so much muses, but the feedback that I’ve received has often helped with further ideas.

What do you think is your trademark in stories and why? Oh help...my trademark? I don’t think I really have one.

What part of your writing do you think still needs improvement? Description of characters or scenery, sex scenes – I find these difficult to do. Fine-tuning of the plot, too – I’m worried that I sometimes digress and lose it a little. But on the whole I believe there's always room for improvement – I hope with further writing I can continue to do so...

Is there something you would never write? Violent or non-con situations; BDSM – a subject I know absolutely nothing about and would therefore never attempt to include; RPS – which I rarely read as it is, but I could never imagine myself taking real characters and writing fiction about them; I feel it's somehow an invasion of their privacy to be making speculations about their sexuality, even if it is only fiction...
