How did you come to fan-fiction/slash writing? I was out on the Internet
in the spring 2003, looking for some Legolas
pictures and I stumbled across some sort of archive and read a story there.
I think I was lucky, reading a PG-13 the first time, so that I didn’t
get scarred for life! ;)
How do you come up with ideas for stories? I listen to a song and
come up with a story around it, or I just have a sex-fantasy of someone and
the plot just falls in place.
What do you do to overcome writer's block? I try to look past the
part where I’m stuck to see where I want the story to lead, and then
I can concentrate on the way to get there!
Have you written in any other fandom? No.
Do you use music as a soundtrack for your writing? Yes, sometimes.
If yes, what kind? Romantic dance songs or Evanescence. Something
with a good and relevant text.
Is there a certain time of day you usually sit down to write? Yeah,
when I get to have the computer in private!! Haha
Have you or would you write stories "on request" for readers?
I tried that ones, but it didn’t work out to well. I felt pressured
to write the story so that it fitted the persons commands and it went down
the drain.
Which of your own stories do you like best?
Well, in the writing moment, I have only written two, so I say “The
Hunters”. It’s romantic, I like that.
What do you think, why the mostly female writers in slash make up stories
about male/male relationships? It is because girls get turned on
by thinking about two strong, handsome males being together intimately. I
know I do! When I introduced slash to my best friend we decided that gay men
are like the sexiest things on the planet! And when people ask, we are open
about it, and the funny thing is that they understand our point of view. Well,
most of them do, anyway.
Do you have muses who help you with your stories? No, I don’t.
What do you think is your trademark in stories and why? I like the
stories to be romantic. At the moment, I don’t think I could write an
angsty piece, for instance. I like them to have a happy ending and a couple
of good, nice sex scenes and some romantic snuggling.
What part of your writing do you think still needs improvement? The
gramatics. Since I’m not a native English speaker, it proves to be difficult
to express myself sometimes, and I don’t think I get the message through
like it was intended to. And when it comes to it, I do have a lack of fantasy!
Is there something you would never write? A fiction about someone
being brutally raped, killed or tormented. As I mentioned earlier, I don’t
know if I can learn to write about angst.
