Gender: Female
Relationship Status: Single
Home: Tennessee
Occupation: Secretary / Student
Hobbies: Anything LOTR related or Orlando Bloom Related.
Reading.
Dislikes: Nothing really.
Seen LOTR/TTT in cinema how often?: LOTR - none. I came on
board late. Didn't watch LOTR until January 2003 and I immediately had to
go watch TTT. I bought LOTR (both versions) on DVD and am wearing it out.
I have seen TTT in theatre 3 times. I also own TTT DVD.
*****
Favorite Story in Archive: I can't choose. I like slash mostly,
but I really liked Zee's 'The Empty Vessel'
Favorite Character (real/fictional): Orlando / Legolas and Viggo / Aragorn
Most hated Character: None really...
Favorite Movie: LOTR and TTT of course. I also have any absurd fondness for Forrest Gump and A Night at the Roxbury.
Favorite Book: Anything Stephen King (Especially the Dark Tower series)
How did you come to fan-fiction/slash writing? Just sort of drifted into it.
How do you come up with ideas for stories? Songs - just my weird imaginings.
What do you do to overcome writer's block? Music...
Have you written in any other fandom? Nope.
Do you use music as a soundtrack for your writing?
Yes
If yes, what kind? Any and every kind. I automatically scan
every song I hear for pertinent Viggo/Orlando or Legolas/Aragorn bits.
Is there a certain time of day you usually sit down to write? Later in the evening, usually past 8:00 pm.
Have you or would you write stories "on request" for readers? I haven't, but I would.
Which of your own stories do you like best? Accidental Witness
What do you think, why the mostly female writers in slash make up stories about male/male relationships? Because the guys are just so darned hot. I guess we'd be more likely to write a Mary Sue if we put a woman in them, because we wouldn't want to think about them being with any woman other than us.
Do you have muses who help you with your stories?
Just the little Viggo and Orli that dance around in my head doing naughty
things.
If yes, who are they? See above response. 'Nuff said.
What do you think is your trademark in stories and why? Fluff and sap. I can't seem to write angst for nothing. Sigh....wish I could.
What part of your writing do you think still needs improvement? The angst.
Is there something you would never write? Probably a Legolas/Gimli story, or FemSlash. Definitely would not write femslash. Not inclined that way, don't want to think about it myself. Sorry...
