How did you come to fan-fiction/slash writing? Have written Trek slash for more than 20 years; a friend of mine and I thought we invented K/S when we were young

What do you do to overcome writer's block? Write to one of my muses for assistance

Have you written in any other fandom? If yes, where can your stories be found? Star Trek, Space: 1999, Mission: Impossible, La Femme Nikita, and a little Smallville, but I've written more het than slash -- it's all at http://www.littlereview.com/fanfic/ycd.htm

Do you use music as a soundtrack for your writing? If yes, what kind? Depends on the story, but I tend to listen to a lot of music

Is there a certain time of day you usually sit down to write? Whenever the kids are not all over me

Have you or would you write stories "on request" for readers? I am more comfortable collaborating with people

Which of your own stories do you like best? "Promises and Pledges"

What do you think, why the mostly female writers in slash make up stories about male/male relationships? I defer to the wisdom of Henry Jenkins, Constance Penley and various other academics who have written in far more detail on this than I can offer here.

Do you have muses who help you with your stories? If yes, who are they? Just about all the fan writers who like the same pairings I do -- Viva Gloria, Najda, Sasjah, Lanna Michaels, Cinzia, Alex Cat, Ashinae

What do you think is your trademark in stories and why? I've written het, I've written slash, I've written angst, I've written absurd happy endings, I've written all kinds of weirdness...most of my stories are pretty sappy and overly verbose but I don't know that there's any other great common thread

What part of your writing do you think still needs improvement? Speed and structure!

Is there something you would never write? Anything involving pain, emotional abuse or gratuitous violence
